Achilles rupture and heel pain
If you hear a ‘pop’ and feel like someone has kicked you in the back of the ankle, and then have difficulty walking, you may have torn your Achilles.
Achilles pain can be felt on the heel bone or in the middle of the tendon. Depending on the severity, I can support you with physio, shockwave therapy, and surgery.
Plantar fasciitis is a debilitating pain under the heel that comes on suddenly. Treatment can be with non-surgical aids, shockwave therapy and surgery.
Pain around the heel can quickly become debilitating. With heel pain, I like to follow a “multi-modal” treatment approach, trying several things at the same time.
